Does the first day of the week dictate the rest yet to come? I have to believe it does. My week started out rough. Monday is a day I don’t want to relive….that’s for sure! However, I truly expected it to get better but I was sadly mistaken and it only got worse.
My lows for the week were one bee sting to one of my kiddos first thing in the morning 15 minutes after we got outside. Tuesday I had another kiddo who was a moody mess all day for some strange reason unknown and Wednesday all was going great until I decided to have a kitchen accident cleaning up lunch.
My highs for the week ended up being a few good walks on the trail, experiencing a new cuisine with a friend (more on this soon) and getting out of doing dishes for awhile since my finger is healing.
Accomplishments for the week are that I finally had a chance to clean out our back shed, we decided to sell one of our spare and very first kayaks which sold in one day, and I am pretty sure we narrowed down a date for one more family camping trip all together.
My workouts were ok. I would have liked more but life seriously just took over this week.
Saturday: gym: 30 minute elliptical and stretching
Monday: home gym: 30 minute recumbent bike
3 mile evening trail walk
Tuesday: 3 mile evening trail walk
Wednesday: rest…every intention was to workout at the gym tonight but after a lunch time kitchen accident the pounding in my freshly cut finger was pounding to much to attempt to workout.
Thursday: trail walk 3 miles
Ultimately, well…..it was a rough week. What more can I say really? We all have them, right?
