Changing My Routine To Minimize Pain

Have you ever taken aqua zumba? Did you like it?

I finally decided to sign up and am looking forward to the adventure. I have been having a lot of ankle pain in one ankle since kicking a rock this summer in the river during a portage. (Not a smart move, I would not recommend doing this) Although, it’s not quite bad enough for me to go see a doctor yet, I am trying to stay as active as possible through the pain. I figured a water class would help this ailment and I am going to give it a try.

That being said, I do not plan to take it easy until the snow flies for sure. I have to savor these snow free days and get outside as much as possible. My hiking boots offer instant pain relief and ice helps when I sit long enough to ice it. Nothing at the gym hurts unless I walk the treadmill which I dislike with a passion. So, no worries there.

Anyhow, I am looking forward to trying this class. It gives me a set time and place for something to happen for the next 6 weeks, which for me at this time of year is great. Add in two weekends of family fun and a possible toddler hike we are hoping to squeeze in yet and I will be booked until Christmas. Awesome!!!!
