Accomplishing The “To Do” List and A Fun Announcement

You know that TO DO list that seems to get longer as the seasons change? Apparently mine grows faster than we are able to get it done. However, lately that is not because we are not trying to keep up with the ever growing list.

For the past two weeks we have had the stomach flu rotating through our home. Let me be the first to say, IT HAS BEEN A LONG TWO WEEKS!!! I had it one weekend, all my daycare kiddos had it through out the week(along with their parents) and last weekend my husband started with it on Easter. He was still under the weather and home in bed on Monday. Needless to say, this has slowed us down quite a bit. However, we are all back up to full speed and it’s time to get the chores done before it’s play time(kayaking season).

The bricks and stone are bought for the last little bit of landscaping we need to finish. The kitchen/hall are emptied and ready to be painted, my new lawnmower will be assembled by Sunday and we have workouts planned both Saturday and Sunday. I am pumped to finally feel like we are going to accomplish things and be able to cross them off the list.

Now, for a little announcement I am happy to share with all of you. Months ago I applied to become an ambassador with the Sweat Pink Fit Approach team of healthy women. This is a group of women who believe in living healthy and going after what they believe in. Here is their mission statement:

We believe that kicking ass is best done in pretty shoes. We’ve learned that real women sweat, and sweat hard. We know that assertiveness, strength, and ambition are the ultimate feminine qualities. We concede that sometimes it takes hours to get ready, but we’re also no strangers to just rolling out of bed and going. We’re convinced that we run faster in pink shoelaces. We believe in pushing ourselves, and we believe in giving ourselves a break, too. We’re all about the rush of endorphins and the thrill of the challenge. We’re all for looking great and feeling even better. We’re committed to finding our best fit, and making it stick.

When I came across this statement, I knew I had to become part of this community. I look at life exactly like it says. Which makes becoming an ambassador to such a great group all the more exciting for me. I was informed this week that I have been accepted to this wonderful group of women and can’t wait to get even more involved in the Sweat Pink community.
